Why we do this
The textile industry is full of labels: "natural", "non-toxic", "organic". Most of them are self-declared, and no regulation requires anyone to prove them. That's exactly why we go the other way.
Every material claim AIZOME makes — from the organic cotton fields in Söke to the OEKO-TEX® Class I certificate issued in Zurich — is lodged as a credential with its supporting evidence: laboratory reports, scope certificates, chain-of-custody records, and clinical test results.

What is a Smart Credential?
A Smart Credential is a live, signed record of a single claim. Not a PDF, not a screenshot of a certificate — a structured record that carries the claim, the evidence behind it, its current status, and its full version history.
Because credentials are signed and hosted independently of our website, they can't be quietly edited, inflated, or faked. They are one source of truth for every claim we make — the same record whether you find it here, on our packaging, or on a retailer's site.

From claim to credential
A badge is the last step of a process, not a sticker. Before any credential appears on this page, it moves through four stages on PocketSeed.
The claim is stated
Specific and falsifiable: "PFAS: Not Detected across all five colorways", not "free of nasty chemicals". Vague claims can't be backed by evidence — so we don't make them.
Evidence is lodged
The documents that substantiate the claim are attached to the credential: independent lab reports, GOTS scope certificates, clinical test results, transaction records.
Claim and evidence are aligned
Each credential ties the claim directly to the documents behind it, so what we say never drifts from what the evidence shows. No evidence, no badge.
Published & kept current
The credential goes live as a signed record. It's a living document: if a certificate expires or evidence is withdrawn, the badge status changes with it — everywhere it appears.

Every credential comes with a built-in way to ask questions — in plain language, right on the credential record.
Ask how we can make a claim, what a test method actually measures, which products a certificate covers, or what "Not Detected" means in practice. Answers are grounded in the credential's own evidence — the lab reports and certificates attached to it — not marketing copy.
